The Valentine cardigan is knitted from top to bottom, in a top-down style. It starts with the shoulders in seed stitch. By picking up stitches, the back is created. Then, the back neckline is raised with short rows. Next, stitches are picked up for the front halves before joining the body under the armholes. An intarsia pattern is placed in the pocket, followed by 2/2 ribbing finishes for the bottom and button band. To assist you in completing it, find all the technical stitches in video format on the Lise Tailor YouTube channel.
